Because couples work is hard—and you don’t have to do it alone.
Working with couples is one of the most rewarding and challenging things we do as therapists.
It can feel unpredictable, high-stakes, and downright overwhelming—especially when you're the only one in the room trying to hold the emotional weight of two (or more) nervous systems.
And let’s be real: most of us got little-to-no hands-on training in couples work during grad school.'
You might be flying by instinct, trying to adapt your individual therapy skills, or sitting in sessions wondering, “Am I doing this right?”
You’re not alone. And that question is exactly why consultation exists.
I offer consultation for therapists who want:
Support with a specific couple who feels especially complex or high-conflict
To build confidence navigating reactivity, power imbalances, or emotional escalations in the room
Feedback and guidance grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) principles
A space to reflect on the emotional toll of couples work—without shame
To gradually shift toward integrating more couples into their caseload
To strengthen their therapeutic presence with both partners at once
Why work with me?
I’m a licensed psychologist certified in both Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT). I’ve supported dozens of therapists in making this work feel more intuitive, embodied, and effective.
I bring a strong EFT foundation—because the model works—but I also respect your unique voice, style, and clinical wisdom. My goal isn’t to “convert” you to one approach. It’s to help you feel grounded, clear, and capable in the room.
Together, we’ll make space for your challenges, your questions, and your strengths.
